Last week I was lucky enough to win a $100 Shopbop voucher from Brigadeiro. This was completely unexpected, as I rarely win anything, especially not anything as significant as this. Perhaps my child will be lucky, and I should enter as many competitions as possible while it's still in my belly?
The luck continued: on the same day my voucher code arrived in my inbox,
there was also an email advertising Shopbop's sale, and another letting
me know that an item on my wishlist was on sale. Low and behold, the
Alexander Wang Marion bag in navy that I had been lusting after was 30%
off. Now, I had managed to resist this bag the week previous, when
Shopbop had their spend and save promotion. Their current sale price was
about $100 cheaper AND I was able to use my $100 voucher. The shopping
gods were smiling on me.
Then I head over to the Barney's site, seeing as they are also having a sale and a free international shipping promotion, only to see that the 3.1 Phillip Lim bag I liked is also on sale, in the croc-print leather. Would it be overkill to get this one as well? I'm thinking probably yes...
Oh wow what a great run of luck for you. I am the same, I never win anything, but it was my new years resolution this year to enter as many competitions as possible, because you have to win sometime or another. Fingers crossed!

ReplyDeleteAs for KW, I actually adore next season, and really can't wait to see it. I'm usually not a fan of our S/S collections so this is a nice change. Then again it's lots of frilly skirts and tea dresses so I suppose this must come as no surprise!

once i bought myself a pair of shoes about a month before xmas and wrapped them and put them under the tree.
i feel it might be too early in the year for you to use that excuse though.

ReplyDeleteand to answer your questions, i'm an absolute sucker for the marion and I think the cut is very classic...so i would choose the marion over the mini pashli. but the one in croc is beautiful!
