We recently had a little family getaway to Sydney. Highlights included a milkshake at Lindt Cafe; window shopping in the city and making a mental wish-list; a picnic at the botanical gardens; and a day wandering around The Rocks.
This area has such a historical feel - it's so easy to imagine it back in the days of early settlement. I once did a ghost tour of this area at night, and as well as being spooky, it was fascinating to hear the true stories from the area. (Note my new Karen Walker boat pants, which will be worn at every opportunity!)
My husband found this building amusing... I think it's the all-boys high-school education...
Oh to go back in time and enjoy one of these ice-creams...
The contents of my suitcase looked a little something like this (... plus a whole lotta baby stuff):

Loving the KW chambray pants on you, they look great! And sounds like you had a fun time, I would love to try one of those milkshakes ;)
ReplyDeleteAs for the skirt - not exactly a "new" purchase but definitely one of the things from current season. I'd been waiting for a nice day to wear it haha.

ReplyDeleteYeah they are expensive, but so easy to wear. I got them from Blonde Venus in Brisbane.

NEW POST UP!
I tried the boat pants on weeks ago but decided against them because I thought they were much too baggy on little me. Well obviously I succumbed after seeing you in them. Just looks and feels too friggin comfy to let slip away (says the reasoning in my head LOL!)
ReplyDeleteK xx
Yay! They are so comfy, I wear them at every opportunity. I'm sure some people think I've popped out in my PJs, but oh well. I'll hope for some pics on your blog - I see you have the bow waist polka dot pants from Karen Walker too, they look great!
